Building Race Day Coach
What's Harder? Running Intervals or Building a Platform?
What's harder?

Running 6 × 1 km intervals with just 2 minutes of recovery?
Or building a platform in two languages that needs to work on desktop, tablet, and mobile?
I'm starting to think the intervals are the easier option. 😄
This week, I pushed myself through one of my toughest running sessions so far. Six 1 km intervals, averaging around 4:00/km, with only two minutes of recovery between each.
It was brutal. But I didn't give up.
And then I went back to building Race Day Coach.
Turns out, building a running platform can be a different kind of endurance training.
Every feature needs to work in Estonian and English. Every page needs to look and feel right on different screen sizes. And just when something works perfectly on desktop, mobile decides to have its own opinion.
But there's something I really enjoy about both running and building software.
Progress doesn't happen all at once.
Sometimes it's one more interval when your legs are telling you to stop.
Sometimes it's fixing one small detail that nobody will ever notice — unless it doesn't work.
Both require patience, consistency, and the willingness to keep going when things get difficult.
Race Day Coach is growing step by step, and I'm learning a lot along the way — both as a runner and as the person building it.
And next week?
More kilometers. More code. Probably more bugs.
